Uyuni is a mature, free, open-source management server with broad distro coverage (SUSE, Enterprise Linux, Debian, Ubuntu) and deep content lifecycle management, backed by a large install base. It has no privileged-access layer, and you assemble and operate its stack yourself. Praxis trades some of that content-lifecycle depth for an integrated plane: brokered access with OpenBao SSH certs, governed remediation and evidence, and signed air-gap transfer with far less to wire together.

Choose Praxis if you want access governance and evidence integrated, not bolted on.
Honest caveat: Uyuni's raw patch/content lifecycle is deeper than Praxis 1.0, which is APT/DNF-only for full servicing and single-worker for interactive sessions.
