This policy describes how Cytech Labs, LLC ("Cytech Labs", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the Praxis website (praxisfleet.com) and the purchase of Praxis licenses. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be plain about what we do collect.
Praxis is self-hosted
Praxis is self-hosted software. It runs in your infrastructure, and the data it manages (your hosts, inventory, patch history, audit logs, and session recordings) stays in your deployment. We do not receive or have access to that data.
After a license key is delivered, Praxis validates the license locally. The self-hosted application does not require an ongoing connection to us to operate.
Information we collect
We may collect the following through the website and sales process:
- Contact information, such as your name and email address when you contact support or purchase a license.
- Billing information: payment and checkout are handled by our payment processor. We receive order details (such as the edition purchased and billing contact), but we do not store full payment card numbers.
- Support information: the contents of emails and any details you choose to share when requesting support.
- Early-access signups: your email address and, if you choose to provide them, your name, company, and approximate fleet size. We store these in our own infrastructure; no third-party mailing service is used.
- Website visit data: the website is served through Cloudflare, which processes visitor request data (IP address, approximate location, and request metadata) on our behalf for security and traffic analytics.
How we use it
- To deliver license keys and manage subscriptions.
- To respond to support requests.
- To send transactional messages about your purchase or account.
- To notify you about Praxis availability if you requested early access. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your signup at any time.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising.
Third parties
The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes request data as described above and stores early-access signups within our Cloudflare infrastructure. Checkout and billing, once available, will be operated by our payment processor, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. Email you send us is processed by our email provider.
Retention
We keep purchase and support records for as long as needed to manage licenses, meet legal and accounting obligations, and provide support.
Your choices
You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you or to request its correction or deletion, subject to records we are required to keep.
